We're on different wave paths here, buddy.
It's the story itself, not the belt. Fans always talk about the rivalries and storylines first before a belt. I'm talking about the belt. Yeah, a belt will add to the story, but I'll never use the word prestige when it comes to wrestling.
That's just me. Don't tell me a wrestling belt is prestigious. Sure, it is in the business when it comes to the wrestlers, but I'm not a wrestler. Wrestling is theatrical; it's a soap opera.

I've slowly reached the point of realization that Wrestlemania is about one thing: securing the bag via the interest of casuals/nostalgic folk and the mainstream media.
With this in mind, a considerable amount of the ass-backwards decision-making that permeates the WWE start to make sense. such as this 20-second loss KO just ate.

First off shouts to the talent for contributing to a great show. Exquisite entertainment tonight.
Reigns vs Strowman felt like this generation's version of sting vs big van Vader. Hard hitting & smash mouth.
As a fan it was a surreal moment to see everything come full circle. Sometimes it's not always about hitting picture perfect dropkicks & hitting 450 splashes off the top rope. Goldberg was a major component to an era where I first became a fan of the genre. That alone makes this moment special.
The marks can say Goldberg is this & Goldberg is that, but him winning tonight gives that universal title a certain pedigree that the Indy guys just couldn't necessarily provide during their title reigns.
It's an honor to have a legend such as Goldberg carrying the belt & representing the raw brand as we continue on the road to wrestlemania.

Vicious? All KO did was wear suits for two weeks.
It's like he snitched on his boy Jericho to get that coveted night shift assistant manager slot. I will say it got him heat, but he could have been vicious with Jericho. But WWE sucks and they botched another smark favourite title reign. Up there with Rollins for WOAT.
