The whole "WWE style" is wack.

Wrestlers should all come up from the independent ranks and straight into the big time bringing with them all their special styles and skills. Teaching them to forget everything they have learned over the years to become "Performance Center Robots" is :scust:

William was a total package and Norman was definitely over.

This whole being good in the ring is bullshyt. All you need is to be fire on the mic.

Regal was very good (not a total package since his look was always wack) and so was Norman, but I'm not hiring them to do anything more than give pointers in the ring and maybe a little character work since they both did good with their gimmicks and have great psychology. Regal on Breaking Ground was giving actual suggestions on character approaches when he's had like 2 memorable gimmicks, none of which really got that over

IMO there's a ceiling for a wrestler as far as how good they'll get on the mic, meanwhile you can always improve your in ring work

Yeah. Jordan & Gable are good though because of their amateur wrestling. But NXT in 2012 & NXT in 2016 are like night and day different. Didn't think they would be getting all these TNA/NJPW/ROH stars.

They are like 90% of the reason why NXT is popping.

If it was just wwe created guys nobody would care.

Imagine if big men couldnt learn a post game from Hakeem, and instead they had to learn from Clarence Weatherspoon.

Thats what I'm seeing brehs

Honestly most great coaches weren't star players. It's very rare where you can find a former star that's a good coach/mentor.

Regal was responsible for taking Daniel Bryan to the next level and he played a role in helping countless others out like Brian Kendrick, Samoa Joe, and CM Punk. Hell Mike Quackenbush trained Cesaro, and he's a much smaller star then any of the main male trainers at NXT. The quality of WWE training has less to do with the trainers and more to do with the WWE wanting everybody to learn the same cookie cutter style.

Are folks really surprised dudes who're just starting the game in WWE's training facility aren't as good as established indy stars? Come on, y'all...

Some of the homegrowns been wrestling just as long as established indie stars, and even then people like Joe, Crews, Zayn, and other guys were only wrestling for a few years before they got really good. Getting your character worked out, and your psychology, and your personality tweaked are the things that take a lot of time and experience but the in ring work shouldn't take an extremely long time for someone to catch on.

I don't know why you say that. Lots of dudes started out weak in-ring and slowly evolved into a decent hand. Undertaker had his personality on-point waaaaaay before he became decent in-ring.

Looking at the dudes who are legit homegrowns--like, NEVER wrestled before coming to WWE:

Mojo - sucks
Gable - good
Jordan - good
Enzo - sucks

2 for 4...I've seen worse. :ehh:

This whole topic idea has been in my head since that Bret Hart "its the shyts" video came out. Talking about "What is Hogan gonna teach Samoa Joe?" Immediately made me think....What the fukk is Albert gonna teach Joe?

Real talk tho, samoa joe career>>>albert career and it ain't even close. :mjlol:

If anything he should be teaching him.:ehh:

Watching NXT and they wasting time with Elias Sampson. His finisher is a swinging neckbreaker. :camby:

Mojo Rawley is ass :yeshrug:

Curtis Axel is :francis:

Go down the line brehs, they all are limited as hell. Its time to trim the fat.

The E signing all these indy guys just shows how shyt the NXT trainers are. What the fukk is anybody learning from fat shyt Albert who never drew a dime? And dont tell me he was dope in Japan cause ain't no Japan god talking about their amazing feud with fukking Albert :stopitslime:

And as much as I love Regal, whenever he gets asked about his dope matches or feuds, he replies with "I dont remember anything, I was battling my demons" :snoop: And no disrespect to the gawd, but he aint never drew a dime either. Midcarder for life. I can't be alone here.

Y'all never wonder why Big Cass and Enzo are dope on the mic but complete ass in the ring despite practically living in the performance center? Only recently has NXT been on the road, these dudes been there for mad long. :patrice:
Actually it just hit me...out of the five dudes you mentioned, only two of them (Mojo and Enzo) are homegrown. Axel, Samson and Big Cass started out elsewhere

That's why I said NXT 2012 & NXT 2016 and crazy different. Folks wasn't as high on NXT as they are now. Seth was really like the only Indy guy there back then. As time went along, guys like PAC, Generico, Steen, Del Sol, and Devitt slowly started coming in.

Well, the previous head trainer was Bill Demott. I liked how Scott Hall interacted with the talent when he visited the performance center on BG. If he was interested in training these guys that would be a guy who could definitely teach them some shyt. He's a great promo, was an excellent worker and has a mind for the business.
