So Reigns is retaining at ER and MITB then? :beli:

Same goes for New Day and Charlotte? :skip:

I mean we knew they were anyway but way to fukking spoiler it for us :martin:

Whoever is champion at the time the cards are made are always billed as champion in match line ups. That's how it's been since the 60s. Why would you advertise someone who hasn't won the title yet as a champion for events 2 months away? That's not how you promote shows. You advertise who is champion until the day they aren't champion. Should AJ win the title, the advertising will change to reflect that.

So Bray Wyatt is on his way back then..still as a face or what? LOL. By then, Rollins will be back without question unless they just putting him off until Summerslam.

The announced matches for WWE’s upcoming Japan tour were reportedly received with a bit of disappointment in Japan, even though both shows sold out immediately.

The thought was that Shinsuke Nakamura, who is facing Bray Wyatt on the tour, might be featured in a single match in the main event, which is occupied by Roman Reigns defending in a triple threat match. Nakamura’s match will be very meaningful, but he has the same opponent both nights, and it was also booked as the fourth highest match on the card.

Additionally, the Japanese wrestling markets usually frown upon triple threat title matches, and two consecutive nights didn’t make things easier, making it look like WWE is booking for themselves, not the Japanese audience.

It was also noted that Charlotte and Asuka will be kept apart as far as this tour goes, possibly giving room for future plans.

Call me crazy, but Bray vs Nak sounds like a tremendous match. Especially when you consider Bray being a huge fan of Nakamura. That sounds like a perfect match of weird dudes and wrestling for a WWE show in Japan. Cena vs Nak America would be dope as fukk no doubt, but I sure as hell wouldn't be upset with seeing Nak/Bray anywhere in the world. Weird charisma is off the charts with those two together.

If both shows sold out immediately - not sure if that's even true, last year they drew 8k and 7k - then he can't fukking say it was received with disappointment. There's no current promotion in Japan that can LEGIT sell out Sumo Hall two nights in a row (not even New Japan for the G-1), having two sell outs months in advance is HUGE. Specially because WWE has bombed badly in past years with this same strategy.

He's probably using the opinion of one of his Tokyo Sports sources and putting it like it's the general feeling :heh:
