See @Silkk this is what I mean when I say Dave can be fukking clueless when it comes to puro.

If both shows sold out immediately - not sure if that's even true, last year they drew 8k and 7k - then he can't fukking say it was received with disappointment. There's no current promotion in Japan that can LEGIT sell out Sumo Hall two nights in a row (not even New Japan for the G-1), having two sell outs months in advance is HUGE. Specially because WWE has bombed badly in past years with this same strategy.

He's probably using the opinion of one of his Tokyo Sports sources and putting it like it's the general feeling :heh:
fukk meltz's thoughts, i personally was disappointed seeing Naka vs Bray booked on both shows

As far as selling out, WWE only goes to Japan what 2 times a year? I look at it how the ROH shows sell out when NJPW talent is announced in advance.

Why the fukk would they give Hawaii Cena vs Naka but not Japan:mindblown:

In 2014 they did 3 shows. Sold out 1 in Sumo Hall, the other one did 5k :mjlol: and another 5k in Osaka. At one they either stopped going or made it 1 show a year. Two sell outs months in advance is huge news for them considering the state of the business in Japan.

lol @ me asking myself which Bella is that when I know damn well Brie ain't got titties like that.

And why the fukk is Sasha not booked?

They never use her :mjcry:

fukk was the point of her leaving Team BAD for if they were gonna put her on ice :mjcry:

She's banged up. She hasn't been in a singles match since the Raw after WM. She's only been in tags or triple threats on house shows. They're resting her.

RESULTS – WWE JAPAN 日本 – 01/07/2016
Venue: Ryōgoku Kokugikan – Tokyo, Japan
Date: 01/07/2016
Show:

*WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day (C) defeat Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, The Usos & The Vaudevillians to retain their championships.

*Dolph Ziggler defeats Curtis Axel via pinfall following a Super Kick.

*Baron Corbin defeats Titus O’Neil via pinfall following the End of Days.

*NXT Women’s Championship: Asuka (C) defeats Natalya with the Asuka Lock to retain her Championship. Both women received good reactions with Asuka getting the streamer treatment when she made her entrance.

*AJ Styles defeats John Cena via pinfall with the Phenomenal Forearm after Gallows & Anderson got involved in what was said to be an amazing match. The Usos and Cena clear The Club out of the ring as the show goes to intermission.

*WWE Women’s Championship: Charlotte (C) defeats Becky Lynch to retain her Championship with the Figure-eight submission after an entertaining match, very good reaction for Becky on her return Japan.

*Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Chris Jericho with the Kinshasa at around the 20 minute mark in a brilliant back and forth, first time ever dream match. Both competitors excelled in playing up to the crowd. After the match both men showed respect for each other with Jericho cutting a short promo and raising Nakamura’s hand.

*WWE Championship: Dean Ambrose defeats Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins to retain his Championship in an excellent Main Event, pinning Owens after hitting Dirty Deeds. A mini Shield reunion occurred mid match with Rollins hitting an Ambrose assisted Powerbomb on Owens.

Be sure to return tomorrow for results of the 2nd WWE show to come from Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
