Like many of the other appealing things from the past, they've pretty much eliminated catchphrases for years now. Just look at the amount of crowd signs (and general crowd participation) today compared to 98. A world of difference

Did they ever do this shyt with Cena? I don't remember them editing crowd signs, deleting YT comments among other things. Also when Cena comes out on Raw in England it's heaving booing, yet with Reigns they pipe in cheers. Did they ever go this over the top for Cena like they are Reigns?

Smackdown has always been iffy anyway, but I don't ever remember this type of censoring and coddling for Cena at all. For Reigns, it's like they have no idea what they want to do with him. They'll pipe in cheers or raise the volume up on his theme, but the cameras will pan around checking people looking like they're in a morgue. Or, they won't do any editing at all, but will have Cole or JBL halfway acknowledge the reaction. "LISTEN TO THAT POLARIZING REACTION" *overwhelming boos*

Cena got coddled alot during Rock/Cena 1...they had the entire roster do a video practically going off on fans for not cheering for Cena. One of the craziest things ive ever heard of in the business.

When Rock decimated him with the mountain promo..he kind of $hitted on WWE saying that nygga only do his work for the money..lol

So they showed other comical parts instead that type of character cutting/burying truth.
