It's just unrealistic to believe that staying peaceful and non violent will get your oppressors to answer you. Taking an ass whooping is not the same as taking a stand.
I've been saying forever that the system of oppression only responds to violence and money. And they've limited our money, and forced us into poverty. So the naturally the latter is more feasible.

5 cops get killed in response to police murdering civilians and now you got politicians who NEVER EVER say anything positive about blacks, all of a sudden take a stand for black people.
There's a difference between pandering and fearing. Politicians normally pander in a way that's appeasing to the population they're trying to pander to, but not offensive to their main supporters.
Gingrich flat out , unapologetically saying that "White people DOnt understand the plight that blacks face" is very telling.
There's so many ways that could have worded to get the point across while coddling white people. As politicians are experts at doing. And he didn't do that.
Trump or his potential VP Benefit very little from pandering to blacks at this point, and if anything they're hurt by offending their conservative, racist, redneck main following.
Truth is this, white people DONT want that war. They don't want that beef. We've been convinced that they do. You see a couple of rednecks in the south shooting guns at targets and we automatically assume they are trained. But as you can see, it's different when you shoot back.
NO. They shoot at stationary targets. And having a gun culture is not the same as actually knowing how to use them in battle. We just saw what an actual trained man can do. And they did too.
They don't want that beef. Because the truth is. There are millions of whites in this country and they make up most of the country. A race war would be far worse for them than it would be for us, because white supremacy is about the perception of power and not power itself. Those gun toting crazy rednecks are a MINORITY in the white community. The white community is largely made up of normal everyday suburban family who know nothing about guns, and don't plan to. Which is why they don't want that race war. The guns they put in black neighborhoods would backfire, And too many whites people would die.
I don't want to see anyone die, I'm not encouraging cops being murdered and I don't want a race war. But the fact is, white people have never had to deal with getting punched back in the mouth. Ever. Throughout our history here. We have by far and large been docile. 100 slaves to 5 slavemasters/watchers without any rebellion because of fear and perception.
They never had a problem beating US, killing us, or shooting us. They have a problem when we shoot back.
Hopefully this will be the last time something like this happens, but this whole situation was very telling.
Violence isn't convienient, but it is effective. Fear and violence are why the white community is where it is today.
