Xbox 720 = $500, always connected, no BC

So many insiders cant be all wrong. Ms is definitely going through a sub based system along with the fukkery that is drm aka always online. As much as i was an xbox fan there is no chance in hell that i buy a system that will force me to be online and here is why.

1-i always have stuff uploading, always, that will cripple my gaming
2-i often take my xbox to a cabin and spend a weeking fukking around, no online there
3- Nothing that i will hate more than after buying every game on release date I go home and wait hours to connect to the server.
4-Internet disconnections rarely happen but they do
5-I have a bandwidth limit dont want to waste it on single player games, never play online multiplayer anyways

Bottom line this will be a disaster even the hell hole that is ubisoft realized that drm will only take you backwards

This rumor is ridiculous & had to be an April's Fools Joke. A big reason the PS3 launch price was so large was that they had extra chips (The Emotion Engine & the PS2 Graphics Synthesizer) in the PS3 for Backward compatibility for PS2 games. Sony won't be putting a cell processor in the PS4 for PS3 backwards compatibility because they wanna keep the price down.

How the fukk is Microsoft gonna have 2 APUs in the next gen Xbox & keep it price effective? It's not happening.

First duke posted 2 articles from last year with this shyt. Then turns around posts one from last week which obviously didn't pay attention to the date and ran with it like it was new. We already got the cpu/gpu details on both systems.

And this same dude talking about how 3cepts lack logic and believe wild rumors.

It is a rumor that has been repeated by multiple sources over the course of two year. It has come from the same sources and reports y'all quote for revealing the specs. They are the same reports that say the Xbox will be "always on" kinect required and with a smaller controller.

Is any of this true? I don't know. But you can't pick and choose which rumors you want to believe. Either all of them are on the table or none of them are. With microsfts plan a dual apu setup makes sense. They claimed a long time ago that you will be able to use the Xbox as a cable box and a gaming machine AT THE SAME TIME. Dual APUs make sense in pursuing this goal.

Only reason why I got a xbox is cause sony was dikking around and waited too long to drop but the 600 price tag. Once I got the ps3 I stop playing my xbox. Needless to say if sony plays it cards right, PS4 will be my only next gen console for the first 3 years until a price drop on the 720

Looks like it is PC next gen for me.

I don't care for most exclusives anyway, and if I really wanted to care for Halo or Gears they eventually hit PC anyway.

Would rather save some money for the next year or two, buy a beast pc and be good to go for 3-4 years and upgrade when needed.

While I somewhat agree with you, what gears or halo have you known to come to pc? The first ones?

You have to remember that Sony stated they arent going always online on a system level BUT developers are free to add that stipulation to a game if they want to.

If you think EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc...are going to have an always online game on one system and not the other then you are in for a rude awakening.

Either both systems will have games that require an online connection to work or neither will.
