Nothing is moving the needle for them at this point unless they go exclusive again.

The Xbox Experience app is cool for handhelds though. But anyone who wants to play Steam games at their couch is probably already playing them at their set up.

That day 1 commitment bit them in the ass. What it should've been was day 1 discounts if someone is on GP for automatic 20% new games.

Not being able to sell consoles and get more subs is what bit them in the ass.

Day 1 and Game Pass in general works when you got enough money coming in. And they're clearly eating right now with that multiplatform money from PS users.

So what's enticing new customers?

Especially now that you can get their titles on the PS platform? Steam dudes ain't leaving. PS guys are good now that they get Xbox games.

they're a multiplatform publisher who keeps hardware for the legacy customers.
Xbox clearing the most revenue ever.

Dominating multiple platforms with software, the number one publisher in gaming:wow:

Most people playing games on xbox hardware ever.

~40 million gamepass subscribers and growing fast on PC.

Big partnerships with AMD, and other gaming hardware manufactures.

Bout to shake up the video game industry with unprecedented hardware solutions.

And sony stan’s in here musing about what they “shoulda” done to sell more consoles than PlayStation

nikkas crazy :mjlol:

It's obvious Game Pass is finally getting some of the biggest games of the year, and if that continues, it's going to attract new subs.

That's been their focus since they lost the hardware game.

Where?

Saying they shouldn't make a new console is not the same as saying they still aren't making one. :skip:

These goofys got an Series X costing more than a PS5 Pro when their hardware sales have been dwindling monthly for a minute now. Christmas was a joke. They must got dirt on Nutella like Putin does Trump.

Make a more powerful console? Been there and done that. Games? You've conditioned your customers to not buy them.

You're damn near ten toes deep as a full publishers anyway, just go all the way and exit the 1st party hardware business.
:gucci:
They won't pull the plug on the Xbox One, but this may very well be the last Xbox console.

Yea and steam will stop selling steam deck because it isn’t the highest selling console :pachaha:

What's your argument?

You saying PS should quit selling consoles and go 3rd party publisher cause they can't compete with xbox?

Cause yea, that's not good business at the current time.

You’re saying all this for some strange strawman you’re attempting to make.

I merely said Xbox consoles will continue to be made as long as gamepass is a service.

Live in trump's amerikkka brehs... :wow:

We said they should exit the hardware business.

Microsoft partnering up with AMD probably means they'll sell some kind of Xbox OEM license or chip to hardware manufacturers to make third party consoles like they do with Windows (HP Xbox, Asus Xbox, etc.) :ohhh:

We won't know until late 2026 at least. Hopefully whatever they got cooking pans out because making their games multiplatform practically makes buying an Xbox pointless outside of Gamepass and backwards compatibility. :skip:

Too early to say that since this run Game Pass is on only started this year.

E33 just launched there. Wuchang launching there. Ninja Gaiden 4 launching there. They're undoubtedly getting the games people want to play now.
