You dont need an expensive PC. You can have a regular PC and get a 580 for around $230 and have 4k gaming. I have a 390 and that shyt plays most my games at 4k 30fps..and that card is from 2 years ago. Total cost of the PC is less than 500. Granted, its not as high end as the X will be..but the point still stands.

To build a similar PC it would cost upwards of $900. And that's without the small form factor, liquid cooling, etc.

You are getting a lot of tech for that $500

People complained this gen was "weak" cause the consoles didn't outperform PC hardware of a similar price.

So I won't be part of the hate xbx crowd. Having to make sure that the games run on the regular xb1 probably hurts what they can put on the xbx. But it's their fault for being 3 gens in and still lackin in 1st party exclusives that their audience will buy.
