first off...u don't have to buy the add-on..it comes with every box. Just plug in it..stash it somewhere and keep it moving...there is literally no reason to complain about this...

breh if it came with the system that i brought then i did buy it. if i can connect and stash it then there is literally no common sense reason why it shouldn't work without it, hence why these complaints about the always on kinect is justified. this is the coli though i'm not surprised logic and reason isn't acceptable

So you're saying XBOX lost the last gen? I didn't even consider Asia and their 3 billion people so you might be right about that worldwide shyt. But we all know all that matters is US sales, especially for these stan war threads . And in the US, Xbox is going to win again. Gamers don't have a huge influence in the western world. All they want is their COD/Halo/Madden and they're . Xbox has the superior UI, entertainment tech and fan favorite Xbox Live, so they're going to win in the states, just like the last gen.

You play online with the world, not the united states. If we're real gamers we want to be connected to the planet, not just one segment of the globe. PS4 this holiday season. I dont buy systems for a user interface, i buy it to play games. PS4 will feed friends everything they need. Xbox gave into greed and destroyed their business.

If you just want a dope entertainment system with the standard COD/Madden shyt then you going with XBOX One.

Gaming is quickly becoming a losing venture for these big firms- Thats why you have this consoles going in this direction.

Because Xbox does the entertainment and Live function's better- they will probably outperform PS here in the states once again. But I am sure the true gamers will remain faithful to PS.

I'm so confused...so the Xbox One will broadcast live TV, THROUGH MY SET TOP BOX, but then require an extra device? So essentially, I can watch TV like normal...OR...I can buy this extra device, so I can watch TV through my Xbox?

Why would I want to do that again? It's the same thing I said when they brought all that "watch these channels on Xbox Live" awhile back. Why exactly would I want to do that, when I have my cable box right there? This may be the most pointless thing I've ever seen. Why is it pointless you ask? Because the cable/satellite box is still gonna be required. So you're gonna have boxes in your house that essentially do the same thing.

Microsoft wants you to believe that the Xbox is gonna become this big, center of your living room media hub, but all it's doing is becoming a redundancy. If you think the cable/satellite companies are gonna allow you to get rid of the boxes you rent from them, you're nuts. The only way that'll happen, is if M$ subsidizes the cost...for EVERYONE...and you know what that means? Xbox Live prices going up, Up, UP.

I'm sorry, but color me unimpressed.

It started with the harddrive being too small, eating up space quickly. Then the wireless add on. Then my system died. Then my system died again. Then im buying rechargeable batteries, then im paying to play online. People no longer chatting in game because they're all in party chats listening to each other breath. Its 2 much. I woke up. Some of my friends are still stuck in the matrix though and hopefully for those people, i can convince them to purchase a PS4 this holiday season but you cant save everyone in life, friend.
