Microsoft with another scheme to rip people off.
So 60 bucks for an antenna you can get for much less on your TV to watch local channels. Is the draw supposed to be simply having free air TV on the XBOX UI?

Isn't Sony working on its own solution where you can stream live TV over IP? Seems like that'd be more beneficial to wannabe cord cutters than adding a separate box.
TBH that seems like something Microsoft would have down pat them being the software company and all, surprised they don't since apparently streaming is the future of home consoles. Sony's already got the games part down, they're pretty far ahead in this area.
At least you don't have to worry about not having television if your internet goes out with this though.

I bought a $15 OTA antenna, no logical reason to pay 5x that much 
being able to pause live tv is dope to me. Also. Even though I already have these channels on my tv, I never switch to them because I do everything voice with my tv, and haven't seen the tv remote in like 3 months.
this completes everything for me, with hbo go, NFL network, and ESPN apps already the Xbox won will really be my all in one device.

yes my point is a reach while the argument for a $3-500 device dedicated to 1 function in 2015 is totally sound

It's funny how y'all act like these secondary features on Xbox actually is doing something out in the real world. Reality shows that people just don't give a fukk about it as much as you guys talk about it. Yeah, it's cool and convenient from time to time but it ain't really meaning shyt overall. You'd have a point if the Xbox was leading but it's not. Sony isn't some shadow of itself, it's the current leader in console sales.
