The fact that you have to defend paying for "Xbox Live Gold", because the core services it provides are FREE on EVERY OTHER platform is the problem.

The point being, 5 bucks a month shouldn't be a deterrent to play games you really want to play. Who cares if its free on the PS4 if the XB1 has the games someone likes?

all these years later and folks are still complaining about paying an MAX of $5 a month for live.
