physical copies of AAA games outsell digital breh
Why do gamers still buy physical games?
and even MS says that the USA has shytty broadband coverage:
Microsoft Says the FCC 'Overstates' Broadband Availability in the US
A lot of the country only has access to 6mbps service -- imagine downloading a 40GB AAA title ... that shyt would take a few days.
Gamers as a whole do NOT want to go all-digital. Digital is a great option and I personally bought games digitally out of convenience, but I don't want the end of physical. That's part of the whole backlash with Google Stadia. I like physically owning my games, I'm not at the mercy of an internet connection or if in the event that Sony ever in some weird scenario (remember PT?) decided to take it off the PSN Store.
