No idea. I'm just going off the info I have now. If specs remain the same then price will obviously be the main factor for consumers when deciding between the two if one is priced significantly less than the other. If Sony changes course and beefs up the hardware and thereby raising costs, then it's a specs war. It's really not a difficult concept.

but according to somebody on here it's been already in development so it's too late to change the specs but either way lets say ps4 neo's specs are set in stone that's not gonna make ps4 fans jump ship nor should they so lets say neo drops in 2018 (with better specs) that means scorpio will be on top for about a year so it would be no point to brag about specs....but if neo comes out with slightly weaker specs you're gonna hear it's all about the games at that point but for arguments sake idc bout none of that i got both ps4 and x1 ima get the XB1S and then the scorpio when it drops in 2017 and whatever system sony upgrades with long as i got my fav MP game (best MP game of all time G4 fukk who disagree) and i get to enjoy great SP games from both sony and microsoft then im good cuz if the argument is specs then PC nikkas shyttin on everybody and idc if it's not a console the shyt can play games so the x1 vs ps4 debates are irrelevant

it will be. Think about it the card is 6 teraflops and comes in 2017 at the end of the year. This summer the GTX 1080 came out and is 9 teraflops. By the end of next year the GTX 1080 ti will likely be out and it can be assumed will be over 10 teraflops. If that comes out today it's a beastly console but a year and a half from now its gonna be decent but the top end will be way stronger than it is.

Sony did the same thing Microsoft did last year and got criticized for it and Sony did the same thing and they claimed they won E3. Sony fans funny as hell. That is why i can't jump on it

Stop man, overwhelming majority of fans and sites know who won E3. Not like it's some big deal or you get a medal for the shyt. Sony giving the people what they want. Xbox Execs just don't get it. And until they do, it'll be the same shyt.

so like i said at the end of the day unless you got a pc all this stan debate/arguing is pointless cuz if sony and microsoft gonna be trading punches via new consoles with upgraded specs till the end of time we should all bow down to PC's (unless u have PC and can upgrade anytime you wish)

2018 Sony could drop a system with 9 flops 2020 microsoft counters with a system with 12 flops all this riding for one console is borderline retarded

Xbox did the same exact thing last year and they did bad, Sony did it this year, all of the sudden specs are irrelevant I'm not saying Sony's was bad but i don't think they won. I couldn't get on the COLI with out seeing the PS4 runs every game 1080/60 while Xbox was 720/30. They didn't even show NEO and the ending was weak as hell, still today i still don't know a thing about the NEO.
