The adoption not the issue as it will be 2017 and you can buy a 4K 40 inch for 3 and some change now so imagine next year. Microsoft always innovate shyt though breh and I don't know why people forget. 720P Hard drives Online play I mean come on this is what they do.

Adoption prob won't be the issue as the Scorpio will easily do 1080p60, it's the price.

"ECOSYSTEM" The OG XB came out after the PS2 significantly more powerful, and this will be the case with Scorpio. Power is just one part of the story but it not the entire story. Ecosystem is not about just Big AAA 1st party studios, it's about small quirky games as well, Sony takes more risk on what the fukk is that type of games. And contrary to what you may say they have a shyt load of what is percieved as A or AA games that are 10 times better than some of those AAA titles.

Sony has an eye for talent but they are getting like Microsoft where it is starting to be one lane. Survival type bullshyt Horizon Last of Us that new Zombie game... these are their biggest IPS but how long will it be until people are tired of that shyt.

Come on man... TVs has the fastest adoption rate of any product in electronics from Plasma Led LcD OLED 720P 1080P 4K ultra wide screen that is nothing. The reason the adoption has been slow was the products has been slow reaching the public. The first 4k blu ray came out in March man and as it become more common especially with Xbox One S, the manufacturers will follow.

things will change as they always do. don't think it's one lane with Sony or MS.

Sony's biggest IPS right now are Uncharted, Last Of Us, God Of War (old ones were certainly not the same style as Uncharted and LoU).

I think platformers are slowly coming back, but the Playstation library has ALWAYS been very diverse. We think about top titles, but their niche shyt has lots of supply.

the thing that is hurting and still disappointing is the fact that TV and Cable are still not using 1080p for broadcasting. It's disgusting at this point.

We talking 4K and shyt but the big broadcasters and media companies still using 720p and 1080i. That's rediculous. The faster they adopt (which ain't happening unless they are forced to), the better. Netflix doing 4K can't do it all.

The core streaming services are already there that the general public and casuals use.

Playstaton VUE is there too, so they aren't really hurting for lack of features that really matter.

But I def think that Sony needs to lighten up on the restrictions with streaming media within your home network through the PS4 like you could the PS3.

i forgot about the VUE...weird too because i really like it and was close to subscribing. you're right, their streaming services are in place, plus they'll probably have some exclusive apps with Sony movie studio.

i think the dashboard and media is their biggest problem. a complete overhaul of the dashboard with a focus on ergonomic and the option to import music and movies would be a nice feature.

edit: I'm reading some of these articles stating it's 10 to even 16x more powerful. Doesn't look like it to me or I'm expecting too much.
