Lots of confusion in this thread, which was bound to happen when the thread was created by someone who dislikes the topic he's speaking on
What am I missing with the whole play multiple games at once thing?
Simply means you can pick up INSTANTLY where you left off on multiple games. This gen, right now you can turn your system off. Turn it back on, login, go to the last game you played and it'll begin where you left it. It worked better at launch, since then these systems are far less capable. I used to switch between multiple apps and it would remember everything. Now it can't even handle a game and app without hiccups
Something tells me Microsoft dumped this info cos they’ve heard Sony is about to unveil its specs and it’s probably more powerful. You don’t want to reveal yours after that and then turns out it’s less powerful.
Ok ok... Sony has to come in cheaper. But it can't. If you look at the info prices are rising and Sony is scrambling. They can't get the price down and prices are going up. That's why they can't tell you anything because they have no ideas how they can compete with series x or the unannounced series s. The series x will cost $600 minimum, the series s will be $400. The ps5 is hoping it and its consumers can afford $500.
This info is literally everywhere. Those ssds nvme drives going up, the gddr6 ram going up.
The one thing you never here is Microsoft concerns about this, just Sony. There's a reason

which I'll post below...
They would already be losing a lot of money at 499 ....
399 nah
You’d have to make all that money back in subscription services , you would need a flip of hardware sales from this gen to do that ... no way
Oh, but yes way. See, remember when y'all laughed at the kid for talking about the cloud. How it wasn't ready/etc. We all agree that's no longer the case. What you're still not understanding is how that affects this next gen. The series s won't cost alot to make. All these expensive console parts don't apply to cloud computing. So the cloud can essentially help power the series s, series x, xbox one even.
The cloud makes the series s on par if not superior to the ps5. The series x stands alone as the most capable. Always was the plan, all of this was. As I've stated many moons ago, Sony is not future proof. Gaikai was never an option. Laugh now cry later was the mantra entering this current gen. We took an L, but it looks like we'll recover rather nicely
