Xenophobia towards African Americans from immigrants.

Everyone addresses the xenophobia toward immigrants coming to America but not the xenophobia towards African Americans.

Some immigrants come to America with predisposed sterotypes about African Americans that they may have picked up from the media or wherever. They really dont have good insight into African American history or The American Laws that protect them.

I've talked about this but problem is that cac media depicts black people negatively and with bad stereotypes BUT black people also do the same to each other. Via sources like Worldstar and ratchet videos. The internet as a whole is wide open to everyone and far reaching. If all most of the community is uploading on their own is negative content and cacs are doing the same then where is the confusion?

All those fight videos and other ratchet shyt does not go unnoticed. This media gets to places where they have never encountered Black people and informs them of the negative views cacs have of us and we have of ourselves. I don't say this to blame anyone just to raise awareness.

We don't have the Huxtables and the Banks and such to offset shyt anymore the content being spread out there featuring black faces is by a vast majority negative.

I'm aware... Before I ever lived in the west as an African kid all I saw from Hollywood in the 80's was black people as bad guys on screen, criminals or beggars... Just the worst depictions. This was standard but even I was aware.

My point is that we now have the power to make our own media and present it to the world so what is happening now? Is there a counter of those negative depictions or are Black people adding on to what cacs do.

If I'm from China and never met a Black person and my only contact with em is through media and I look up anything it's gonna be sports athlete sor Hollywood shyt or music videos. What do I see? Cacs might have created those stereotypes but since the net popped off nikkaz have been reinforcing them.

Louis (which has a median income of 52k Population & Demographics | North County Quality of Life) as if they didn't just get saved from a far worse living condition where they had to worry about mass murder, bombs going off and complete civil war. They just didn't want to be around African Americans

A white female customer told me this, we were discussing gentrification in South Seattle (she works for the city)...


And this is her comment about the big G.

Shiit makes perfect sense to me. They're trying to claim what used to be a low-income, high impoverishment-laden part of town as their own.




I grew up in south seattle and once the light rail was completed about a decade ago, the white folks moved in in droves.

Syria wasn't always a war torn country. Believe it or not, without war, most Syrians would DEFINITELY stay in Syria over living in a place like St. Louis.
