It's not about searching for it. It's about what's presented to them

Nah you need to think about from a foreign perspective

Proof?
Well considering immigrant POCs wouldn't have the opportunities they have in America without the advancement made by African Americans maybe they need think from an African American perspective.

There is no POC immigrant story or dream without African American struggle.

Your whole immigrant perspective is a johnny come Lately story where the battles were already fought and telling AA to "why are you limping?". As one poster said.

You are enjoy the spoils of struggle all while dissing the soldiers who fought. That is cowardly.

Everytime immigrants try to ignore AA issues it always comes full circle back to them.

No it doesn't and that's why whining about how they feel about AAs is pointless

It's not how they feels it their actions.

It's a cowardly act.
Your original comments was about how the feel. Nothing about heir actions. I agree, once folks take action that negatively affect you, then worry about it

Oppression of blacks affects EVERY immigrant?:jbhmm:
The trend for other minority groups seems to be to either piggy back off of the struggles of AAs or to look to us for support when they go through their own oppression. I think @Donovan Gumby is saying our oppression will hinder us when they inevitably seek our support with overcoming their oppression

Real talk: What most folks here call "White Supremacy" is really majority supremacy, and that's found in most nations around the world, i.e whoever has the majority population tends to be the dominant group. Immigrants are not "buying into white supremacy", as no one who comes here actually expects to be treated equally to the folks who have majority of the population, they are just looking to get their piece of the pie.

So the black immigrant understands we've been here for decades/generations... And thats the full extent of it for them
No knowledge on what was done or why they are able to come over here in the first place:gucci:
Some do. Some don't. Some are selfish with their own people, how will they care to understand others .

While this maybe true, it's clear white supremacists have all of the world resources. No one can deny that fact

The truth is hard to swallow and many are still choking. Yes, the world loves AA popular culture, but that medium also portrays AA's as savages. Rappers can no longer be seen as ambassadors of all African Americans or the culture. Infact they are a liability.
