lastly, i never liked the gibbs signing from a business standpoint. i like freddie, but if you look at jeezy as opposed to ross, ross has a fukkin plan and jeezy's shyt look likes it thrown together for tax purposes.
still cant believe he actually put out a rapper named blood raw.
you cant market blood raw. you cant market slick pulla. i get the usda album. dont support the talent on the project, but every big rapper has a crew album to get their niggs some bread, i can rock w/ that...but you dont put them niggs out solo on your label's dime. and gibbs is miles ahead of those dudes as far as rap goes, but you cant market freddie gibbs. he's a gangster rapper that doesnt have crossover appeal.
in comparison to ross whose only bad decision thus far was pill, who im just giving him a mulligan on. he didnt fit that mmg mold at all. gunplay barely does but he's got so much personality and been w/ ross so long, its almost worth the risk and ross STILL played it smart and let him get his own deal on def jam.
