Jeezy signs worldstar rappers and can't help them reach fame, nor can anyone else and then they get mad.

Freddie Gibbs wanted to be indie, idk what happened but he was definitely not worldstar material as the rest of CTE. Jeezy def dropped the ball on that, but the rest of those rappers was just welfare. People should respect cats like Tyga more for being that young, going hard and not giving a fukk about their weak support from their bosses.

I think Gibbs was Jeezys first chance of helping a rapper reach certified status, a mix of Jeezy's commercial PR skills being wack and Gibbs not wanting to sign to a major killed that shyt.

He promotes these underground acts to their underground ass clubs, the clothing brand, some other unknown clothing brand, Jeezy and I would guess like most underground execs invests in drugs. And obviously a back up rapper for Jeezy's shows. Life does not seem as good for him as it does for Yayo though. Idk why dude goes to jail like 3 times a year though

Freddie Gibbs speaks his mind freely, but when he first split from Young Jeezy's CTE label last year, he may have been holding back just a little bit. Now Gangsta Gibbs is ready to let it all out.

"I believed in what CTE was and what Jeezy was doin'. I messed with it, that was the music I was vibin' to and I wanted to add to it," Gibbs told MTV News on Tuesday (June 11) of what initially attracted him to the Snowman's label back in April 2011.

Things changed, however, and in December, Freddie announced that he and Jeezy amicably parted ways. Now, the Gary, Indiana, spitter charges that the "Soul Survivor" MC didn't back his career in the way that they initially discussed. "I started seein' the fake and the empty promises and all of that stuff and I just didn't wanna be around that no more," he said.

"It's tough meetin' your heroes sometimes and kickin' with them because when they take that cape off, boy o' boy under that cape, sometimes it's some scary lil' boy hidin' under that cape," he continued.

Gibbs first voiced his displeasure with Jeezy in an interview with XXLMag.com, and since then, he said he has received death threats on Twitter, but he isn't taking it too seriously. "Yeah, death threats," he confirmed. "Hey man, I know it hurts you to hear your favorite rapper's a fraud. It ain't my fault."

On July 9, Gibbs plans to drop ESGN, his new independent album which will feature Jay Rock, Problem and Spice 1. The way he sees it is that, while on his current press run, he will have to constantly field questions about Young, and rather than downplay the situation, he's forcing a response out of Jeezy.

"I'ma make it that every time he go sit down, he gotta talk about me. He gonna have to say somethin'. You ain't got no choice," Gibbs said.
