Again, researchers found that teachers’ responses differed by race: White teachers were more lenient on children they perceived as black, while black teachers were harsher.

A lot of y’all gonna ignore this or pretend to care. Useless ass ‘community’.

I went to predominately black suburban HS where 70% of the faculty were black, and 30% white. They were thorough, and didn't play so most of the white teachers got (and stayed) in line, but there were a few that were on some BS and went out of their way to undermine and under teach. They were made examples of and gotten out the paint quick.
fukk cacs. No lie. Even the ones I like excuse the behavior of the ones causing all of the problems

Black male teachers

I have yet to meet or hear about a 4th grade math teacher that's a male

I taught 5th grade for 7 years (then spent 10 teaching high school) and ya the lower the grade levels the less likely you are to see any males much less black males…I forgot the exact percentages but you’ll find the most male teachers in high school, then the 2nd highest percentage in middle/junior high school, and the lowest in elementary

Integration was a way to keep the black american in check. They will teach their kids at home what they need to know and control the others at these public schools. Equality never happened.

Black teachers were just as bad if not worse.

This is beyond political. We have a serious problem

Besides the obvious need for restructuring the education system in America, we are going to need incentives for the teachers. I don't think it question of nobility if someone doesn't want to rack up student loans to work a very stressful and important job that pays little to nothing. If we can recognize the importance of education, we can recognize the importance of the educators.
