Get a decent meat thermomoter. They come in handy when your new and they aint expensive at all

What's the best way to use a meat thermomoter? I sometimes get different temps depending on the depth.

I want to get into it this year with a Kamodo Joe. Embarrassed that I haven’t become a bbq cook after all this time, but want to get it going this year…anybody got one of those? Green Egg?

Do you know how to grill at all? A lot of people will tell you to get a $150 Weber Kettle to practice with. And even though it's cheap, Weber is the best in the game. It'll last for years. And there's a lot of attachments. You can smoke with it, make pizza, cook on a griddle, make rotisserie chicken. They the GOAT. :pachaha:

I cant speak on Kamado/green egg, but it makes no sense to spend $1200 and you don't really know what you're doing.

Weber gets nothing but praise from what I've been reading.:ohhh:

Why would an inexperienced griller spend $1200 on their first grill? It makes no sense to spend alot. Get a cheap weber to learn on then get something more expensive if you want.

The top charcoal grills just off a quick search says weber is the best.

I probably overexagerated, but then I've read posts of people who bought $3000 Kamados only to use the Kettle more. I know everybody is differnt but those are just opinions I've read. Weber is so versatile it's crazy. You can do damn near everything because of all the attachments.

What grill do you suggest once someone gets enough experience?

I had a little portable Weber when I was in an apartment in my single days and cooked burgers and dogs and shyt. I want to get into the briskets, ribs, pizzas and more advanced tings. I’m one of those one and done kinda negroes…buy the top of the line and just run wit it and if it don’t work out, I’ll come back to it later. I found a table that will hold a Classic Joe 2 and I want that mf on my deck. Ill hit up the Coli, YT, and Reddit for tips

LOL the first time you cookout for a bunch of people it feels like Game 7 :whew:

I highly recommend people to practice first.

Man...going to a friends house where he's effortlessly hosting an event for the brehs (or the brehs and wives/girlfriends) will have you feeling like you're witnessing a Jordan/Kobe/Bron masterclass. That shyt will have you doing research trying to figure out how to up your game lol.

One of my guys had these homemade wings that were some of the best I EVER tasted off a grill and he wouldn't give us the recipe lmao. It was some type of ginger/garlic/baked bean sauce that was crazy good lol. He had the sides on point too. Mac n cheese, roasted broccoli, potatoes, cole slaw etc. I'm not a car guy, I'm not a fashion guy...I'm all about having a nice backyard, well cut lawn, and the ability to host a dope BBQ event for friends/fam. Love that shyt.
