The last tweet is the only one that kinda strikes me as something worth getting him to clarify. Everything else is something I can agree with.

It's easier to get justice for a bad decision than it is for an accusation of racism.

Lupe just trying to shed light on the fact that that's where racism hides, in the darkly lit corners of reasonable doubt.
I give you Lupe fans credit, y'all are great at explaining that bullshyt he says and trying to reason it and make sense of it better than anyone

Good for you. He's a c00n and a dikkhead. c00n is used in its proper context in the thread title.

First off bro, don't talk to me like a lil nikka. I don't know you and you don't know me. And if we were to have an intelligent and productive debate on the issue, it would help if you just wouldn't resort to "I'm right, you're wrong" tactics. Why not elaborate more on why you feel that way? Articulate it in a non disrespectful way so we can have a healthy debate.

It's nothing wrong with black people disagreeing. We can learn from each others view points as long as we can have real conversations. Even though I don't agree with your opinion, I respect it, and am open minded enough to consider the reason why you feel the way you feel.

He's not c00ning. He's speaking on a multitude of issues in compressed down small sentences. These serious issues that are happening don't have simple remedies because there's a lot moving parts at play.
This but simple negroes quick to call c00n...:snoop:

I like Lupes music, but his tweets here are nothing but a bunch of empty platitudes.

I didn't disrespect you or treat you like a "lil nikka", don't project your insecurities on me.

I disagree because the cops decision in both the Sterling and Castile incidents were fueled mostly by racism and fear of black men that have been instilled in this country for years. The procedure they go about handling situations with black men, are always more hostile and volatile because instinctively they see us as a threat and a target, even when no immediate danger is present. In the Alton situation, while he had a gun, he was already pinned to the ground with two officers on top of him. There was no immediate reasonable threat of a gun being used. The "bad decision" comes from
Being scared of black men. The Castile case is even more maddening because they killed him after he was simply following their directions. All because that fear they have for black men.

Bad decisions can arise from subpar training and a lack of mental evaluation across the board. When you add in institutional racism and hiring practices that antagonize the issue then you get a shytload of bad decisions across the board happening constantly. That doesn't change the fact that bad decisions of any kind and especially the worst kind, taking a life unnecessarily, have consequences. When the people who continually perpetrate these bad decisions are continually let off the hook for their actions and not dealt with accordingly it goes well beyond bad decisions. This is racism now. Lupe was trying to boil it down to a code of ethics that constantly evaporate for black people every single time an incident like this occurs. He needs to get the fukk out of here with his bullshyt.
