They wouldn't even accept 2 second rounders though. That still would have been more than what they got from the Pistons. So if it's gonna be like that...they gotta pack it up and just put their head down. And Rob....it don't look good for him.
Nope

The issue is bricks contract is too large. No one really has like 47 million in bad contracts to just trade. He’s here until the trade deadline when teams can see what they have and it’ll be way easier to move him.

Also, another issue is Lakers don’t want anymore salary. They’re really just trying to duck the repeaters tax.

Best thing Rob could’ve done was not making a rash decision and execute a bad trade. I’d rather just ride out the contract unless an amazing deal comes along.
I don’t see how the Lakers get a good player or players without comin off those picks

You will find a team who will take Westbrook and 1 pick and maybe someone like Gabriel.

Any way for the lakers to make a swap for reddish? Maybe a 2nd and a young player/expiring?

NOBODY WANTS RUSS.

I think we all understand that. But teams will appreciate that massive expiring and the opportunity to rid themselves of veteran players and bottom out effectively.
Another issue is Russ doesn’t want the stigma of being bought out. He knows that once you get bought out you’re looked at differently and any team trading for Russ is buying his ass out immediately

Russ is the ultimate albatross on a franchise :dead:

I wonder what Russ agent is hearing back from teams because I know he has had to have been calling around. Like I can’t even think of teams who would quickly bring Westbrook in if he were bought out.

That's going too far... all teams would go for him but off the bench.. 20 minutes

That’s what I’m saying all things level what team brings Westbrook in to be a primary member of the team.
