AD is a main key, but Russ still a major key imo. I don’t think we’ll be effective even if AD plays like a top 3 player unless Russ becomes a net positive. Meaning a better defender, a smarter playmaker, and at the very least an ok shooter.

I do think a much better AD would make a huge difference for Russ but there are still other things he needs to work on.

I think Westbrook will be better if they actually get a lob threat and some actual shooters.

A better AD can mask alot of Russ's flaws.

I am comfortable and I love you
I’d just like to see AD stay as healthy as possible and see how it goes from there. Not expecting much from Sabo. Bron is Bron. I want us to pick up whatever draft picks we can and keep developing THT and I liked what I saw of Reaves last year.

I’m done with the blockbuster trades, and acquisition of big names for the sake of it. I want to see how Hams vision to utilize AD will work and how that affects Westbrook and Bron who constantly want/need the ball.

Does Sheed shoot the fair one with Bron? :mjlol:

I don't see much changing from last year unless AD and LeBron somehow have their healthiest year with us. The West was very easy last year and we were 10+ games below .500

Kawhi is coming back, Nuggets are fully healthy, Dame is coming back, Kings are trying to compete, etc. Every game will be a battle, even the trash teams like OKC give us a challenge.

My guess is a play-in spot and then lose unless Bron/AD play 70 games each and we make a Westbrook trade. Don't see either happening.

Agreed. I feel like if the front office and coaching staff are exceptional then we might be able to squeeze one last glass of juice out of these lemons.

I think at the very least the embarrassment of last season could/should motivate the hell out of our main stars.

No you have to trade THT for a wing or stretch big if possible.

And I don't know how AD playing the Giannis role will work for Westbrook not LEbron.

Giannis had the second highest usage in the league last season Bron was sixth.

If AD is the focal point then where does that leave Westbrook?

Can't really make any projections until we have the full roster, but I think getting the 5-6 seed would be a successful regular season

Then you see what happens in the playoffs if we're miraculously able to go in with a fully healthy Bron and AD

This was pretty much my original prediction, 4-5 seed.

The reason I don't place them higher is cause I think Bron gets too lazy on D AND takes off games. Nikka shoulda played them last couple games. You don't know til you know :snoop:

Playoffs different story :mjlit:
