One of the most basic Fisher Price ass beats I've ever heard. Not a terrible song, I love the chorus.

The main reason people doubt Nas is due to production IMO. Lyrically he has never fallen off. But when you listen to The Black Album and then hear Streets Disciple a year later it's like breh, what the fukk are you doing picking these bests...

the fact of the matter is that Nas is so good a rapper that everyone wants him to rhyme on a beat. But the problem is that a sizeable amount of so-called Nas fans don't really love Nas's best work. Which is Illmatic by a long fukking shot. There's a reason why Illmatic has held up so much - the beats are atmospheric, beautiful and street.

So when cats are like "yo Nas would sound good on Southside, or Justice League, or Jake One", it's like :what:
