No melo just didnt resign a extension and they didn't want him to walk away. The nuggets got something back and stay competitive

First of all the NY Press couldnt even say anything if we even WERE to make it to the Finals because we came so far. And I keep reading this from everyone. You know its funny when people say, " People will riot" and then are in fact the riotstarters. Not everyone can win a championship and I'm not putting any pressure on melo to do so. Me and other Knicks fans will worry about that when we start going deeper into the playoffs. Besides we have other fish to fry like how to improve the roster if Lin takes away our MLE, which he will.

They have to atleast push Miami to 7 games next year or win it cause if they take a step back next year with Harden and Ibaka both about to become free agents people will start to talk about them missing their shot and will they ever get it done

Melo deserves it, Durant doesn't. Durant is 23 has made it to the finals, he ran into the most dominant player of his era. Yeah LB is gonna be in his way for years but Wade got 2-3 years tops at the level that he is at now. Which will make Durants 26-27 once the Heat go on the decline IMO.
Melo on the other hand has only made it out of the first round once, and if my memory serves me correctly has been sweept all but 2 or 3 times. Yeah Stat is on the decline but here in NY nobody is gonna want to hear that BS. I'm not saying he gotta win it all next year...he definitely has to make a run though.
