Y'all don't think the Coli's hatred for Drake is a lil excessive at times?

I'm chuckling reading your post, because if you replaced "Wayne" with "Wu-Tang" or "Rakim" it would be a classic post from a :flabbynsick: rap head. Literally word for word, exactly the same.

Wayne is probably special to you, which is why you're framing your posts like this. But the fact of the matter is, he's washed, and the new gen don't give a fukk about him, any more than you did Wu-Tang. Him being one of the greatest, or how much he sold, or how long his run was, or how many hits he had....is now completely irrelevant.

Time is the great equalizer.

Fred.
All these new rappers still imitate him

People don't do that for Wayne or 50, who were the last two commercial golden boys, so don't hold your breath.

Fred.

More than anything I just hate his personality and attitude. Which is weird since most rappers are arrogant, but his seems unearned. He is a rap version of one of those trump kids. Plus Muhammad Ali is the prototype, ya arrogance need humor, charm, charisma, consciousness etc.

Plus, he ran to James prince for protection as told to the world on that open warning, which might be the most humiliating thing I ever seen a rapper do. Dude is lil wayne to james prince's Baby.

It's like you could feel their hatred through the screen. nikkas be going so hard too.
raw

Stans and haters included. nikkas are grown men getting their blood pressure up because someone likes or dislikes a popstars music. Like not even on some jokey "fukk this nikka" or "I fukk with his music" type shyt but serious anger, you would've thought this nikka drake Was their lover or killed their parents the way these dudes act. The funniest part of it all is its OVER AN INTERNET FORUM. (Think about that) Some of them even have a persona dedicated to hating the nikka.

shyt ain't that serious breh:russ:

I seriously doubt Drake wrote nothing, but If....let's say Pac....had another writer credited on 75% of the songs on what is widely considered his best album....and 50% on another album....his career would've been damaged, if not completely over.

Never mind the reference tracks.

Drake got off easy, comparatively speaking. Then again "Views" is widely seen as a pop album. Pac, LL, etc. wouldn't have had that avenue available to them at the height of their career.

Fred.
Capes aplenty would be deployed

I guarantee 100%...capes aplenty would be adorned if that were the case...and we'd actually have a measured, nuanced discussion of ghostwriting as opposed to the cartoonish "he's a complete talentless fraud that has never wrote a single rhyme in his life" rap supervillian shyt yall do with drake

Already seen from how a million "but but buts" come out when it's brought up names like pac, common, LL, etc have had rhymes written for them

Bullshyt.

Reference tracks my nikka, stenciled raps...receipts? No?

:camby:

And you're a damn lie...if it came out that proof was writing his raps and making reference tracks for him Eminem's credibility would be shot and he would have got Vanilla Ice'd. Same thing with Jay, Nas, Rakim or anybody else who build their credibility on their pen game.

They would be DONE without that cred. And regardless of how much of a pop act he is his credibility was hinged upon his raps. DJ Premier said he brought lyricism back to Hip Hop.

:mjlol:

Once he found out about the writers he retracted his statement and called it a milli vanilli moment.

Rakim's legacy wouldn't have survived a milli vanilli moment. Drake wouldn't have either until this era.

His fans are way worse than him. Most people by now understand his fraudulent behavior and either hate it deny it or are indifferent. I don't hate Drake I just think he's a cheater and he uses people's talents and resources to keep himself relevant and then acts like he's the one giving relevancy. His whole entire career is really smoke and mirrors. The worst part as I stated earlier is his fans. The fact that grown man Stan an r&b guy who makes emotional music and occasionally raps is embarrassing. I like a few of his song and don't mind riding out to them but Stanning? I've seen and heard so many things by Drake stans that just baffled me that someone would go so far. They're grown men (and a few women) that act like Beliebers. It's terrible. I have most of them blocked.

Absolutely nothing in the history of rap, going back to it's very first hit record...which was ghostwritten, suggests this is true....Eminem is on record calling black women "black bytches...****** shyt" and not a damn thing happened to his career...a reference track from proof with a hook and half a verse ain't doing shyt to Em :pachaha: ...it'd be a talking point on message boards and Em would still be the biggest popstar of the 21 century ...

And on the flipside (not even directed @ OP) but i love how supposed "non stans" only call out the drake haters.....but NEVER call out the dikkriders who show up in every drake thread capes pressed and ready for saving....unless of course....they ARE in fact dikkriders themselves
Because the "non stans" post more about Drake than the fans. :mjlol:

My Pops Forever RIP
The dislike / stanning of Drake is one of the biggest reasons why the Booth sucks.

The stans don't give a fukk about his reference tracks which pisses off these armchair gatekeepers and then the gatekeepers wanna make Drake's existence punishable by exile which pisses off stans and other people and God forbid if you the fan don't pick a side.

The truth is both sides are obsessed over Drake and it drags down the board. If you feel like you can't go without writing something good about Drake or if you feel it is your duty to counteract the stans, go to your fathers and ask them where you went wrong
