Before you pay. You can make a very simple contract that you are buying vehicle a at a certain price and you both get your signatures notarized on that document. It will be legally binding. Once you give him the money, he will be legally obligated to give you the vehicle.
who does the notarization a lawyer or we can do this shyt ?

Make sure you write up a bill of sale and all the title information is correct

Bought my Pontiac used and a few days ago I put $150 worth of work into it in 2.5 years.Had a chevy I bought for 1k and put $400 of work in it in 3 years.Nothing wrong with used..avoid German cars tho
was thinkin bout a german tbh

It really depends on your budget and how mechanically handy you are... but even if you're not getting something like a 3-4 year old Civic or something is always a good move.

I always buy used, and I do my own maintenance as well as modifications. HEre is my current whip

Just bring a mechanic to check it out, run the vin, write a bill of sale and buy it

When I buy stuff off craigs list I always talk them down like $300 off listed price

That blue cheese will make them drop the price
