Hell yeah! That shyt is NO JOKE. Will put the brakes on any brown ass man. The first time I was doing deadlifts with dbs. I was in bed for two weeks. It goes out maybe once every two years and when it does, it’s always a pain. I refuse to do deadlifts or squats.

Yeah. fukked it up in my mid 20's loading/unloading/pulling/pushing. Didn't listen to my body until it shut my shyt down. Felt like someone put a white hot knife in my lower back. Legs went out and all that. Was out of commission for a few months. Biggest mistake I made was being bedridden. The best thing to do is move. The atraphy that took place was just as bad as the original injury. The times my back went out after that I treated very differently and recovered much faster.

Breh sounds like you didn't move at all for months. :wtf:

I didn't. I said that I was out for like 3 months when it first happened. I had never experienced a pain like that and it didn't stop. I was terrified that this was going to be the rest of my life. I eventually got going again. Years later it happened again do to sitting in an office all day for years but I handled it differently. I focused on the motions and muscles that hurt and went for walks everyday. Every step was focused on strengthening my injury. Up and running again within 2 weeks rather than 3 months. It was a hard lesson to learn. Preventing it from happening is the biggest lesson of all.

Yea in a basketball game as a kid. I fell straight on my back and made it worse when I tried to jump up. I was fukked up for a week but luckily didn't break anything. Even a month later I was having pain whenever I tried to do anything physical. Even lifting my bookbag off the floor made me wince.

I developed thoracic back pain from years of bad posture
got so bad, I had to sleep in a sitting position on the couch

went to go see a physical therapist, they worked with me for a month
helped tons but nothing compares to a foam roller
any time I feel a little stress on my mid back
I just roll that bad boy out and it immediately treats the aches
then I sleep like a baby afterwards

Never had any back pain myself, I have a sedentary job and avoid lifting heavy things :whew:

Doesn't sound fun at all.

No. I'm fairly certain that it is impossible for me to get fat. I spent the first year and a half of covid completely sedentary. I had noticeable muscle atrophy. Stairs became noticeably more difficult and that's when I had to slap myself in the face. I would make it a point to bike or walk for at least an hour outside if it wasn't raining or snowing. That helped a lot.

Now I'm lifting, biking, stretching and walking on the reg and I feel much better. Trying to get my weight up. :lift:

I suffered real bad with back spasms in my late 20s.. had no reason why, but my back been ok for a good 10 years with no issues

I've had back spasms twice in my life. That shyt brings out the bytch in you real quick. Wifey was clowning me the first time it happened and thought I was faking needing help out of bed. Then it happened to her one day. I was helping her off of the ground like :stopitslime:. Later that day she apologized for not understanding how bad it actually felt.
