I didn't read this thread, but the East Coast lost the beef and then immediately began ruining hip hop by creating the shiny suit pop music "anything for a dollar" era which ended up killing New York as a whole shortly thereafter...

Kurupt's Space Boogie was his highest selling album
Snoop's Topp Dogg and Last Meal went plat
Chronic 2001 going plat and doing mega numbers
Then you had the Up and Smoke Tour which generated monster numbers.

You are wrong bruh. After Pac died. The west coast was still puttin out dope music. The west just wasn't gettin commercial exposure. The east coast media outlets/clear channel/ NY DJ's/BET/MTV shut the west coast out. U gotta know that as fact
