But this is what I thought. I guess I'll never know, and better just save up to travel next year.

I travel a bit for my job so I've been in hotels a good amount the last 10 yrs. You see a lot of odd couples that just don't go together at all...The funniest was at the Gaylord conference hotel near D.C.

I walked outta my room to go eat after work and as I'm walking down the hall a cute asian chick stepped out of a room down the hall. She looked happy as she walked out then glanced at me coming towards her. She looked away and down real quick before looking back up at the dude coming out after her. It was a balding white guy in his mid 40's probably. He was coming out just as I was getting to their door and he kept saying BB after everything he said to her. She just kept giving one word answers like she was nervous. So I continued to the elevator and they ended up catching up with me and we all had to ride the same elevator down. He kept doing this weird voice to her and still saying BB after everything he said as she gave one word answers everytime. We get on the elevator and I hit my floor then intentionally made the situation even more awkward as I asked them what floor. She was reaching for the buttons but I just wanted to make sure they knew I was there too so he'd shut the fukk up. I hit their floor and we rode the elevator in silence the rest of the way. Went on my way and had a dope mahi mahi dinner nearby.

That's all it is.. I know a couple myself. They're attractive and they have a job but they're not from a rich family and their job barley can cover their regular day to day expenses.. They even told me such. I don't ask how but they stay flying out to all kinds of places. Flights, hotels, food, sight seeing, etc. cost dough

Idk. This is what the thread is about, whether it is possible to travel somewhat heavily with a small budget. Plus it depends on if the traveling someone does is vacation or just travel.

I don't like using words like expensive because it's all relative.

I've traveled for cheap before to a couple of nearby states for vacation purposes and spent a good 500 for a weekend. The air B&B , food, entertainment,night out, gas, ubers, etc. I felt like it was "cheap" for the fun I had but a few potnas thought it was expensive.

40k a year living with your parents with no debt and not contributing anything to savings or retirement accounts will go a long way.
