Jay isn't losing sleep. More importantly than the masters to Reasonable Doubt, he owns his publishing which is what really makes him his money when dealing with music. He'll eventually own the Masters, but you're making it seem like Jay is when in reality right now he's more than likely looking for a Shooting Guard to manage.

In hindsight, Dame is the one who took the L because he never flourished with the company when Jay left and Jay didn't leave Rocafella empty handed / broke. I just don't see how Jay took an L if it's just him not getting his Masters. Sh*t, some of the biggest artists in history don't own their Masters, the labels do.

In the end, Rocafella doesn't define Jay (as we clearly see today). It was an era in his career that he's moved on from while Dame is struggling to maintain a roof over his head.

He lost to me because let's say the Roc lasted. He would be getting his own money, part of the Dipset money, the Philly boys money, Kanye and whoever else they signed. I wouldn't give a damn if Cam was the VP or if Dame was making all of the decisions without consulting me. That's less work I got to do and as long as the work getting done I'm still getting paid from it. As long at the paperwork straight and I get a piece of everything then I'm good. But thats a big IF. One thing history has proven time and time again is these rap dynasties, crews, and cliques DONT last. Was true with Death Row, Bad Boy, Ruff Ryders, So So Def, No Limit, RapAlot, G-Unit, Aftermath, the list goes on. Now can these labels rejuvenate and re-brand themselves sure (which is what Jay did with Roc Nation). But then he wouldnt be making money from Dipset and State Property.

Im sure Jay is more than happy to trade Rihanna, Kanye West, J.Cole for insubordinate nikkas like Dipset and nikkas who cant stay outta trouble (State Prop) less headache and more money.

That was like nearly 10 years ago, Jay's wealth has quadrupled in size since then. While he may be bitter about the principle of the whole Reasonable Doubt deal, he's certainly not hurting like Dame & Biggs.

Plus his new deal with Time Warner, as far as publishing goes, is going to be very lucrative for him. I don't see how he takes one L in this situation
