Just to be honest it’s you bro I haven’t eaten at a chain Pizzeria since I was a teenager (I’m 35 now)

I grew up in Pomonok projects it was always Valentinos, Gino’s or Napoli’s.

That being said I’m sure there are plenty of families that eat at chain restaurants in NYC.

I'm an NYC breh that eats chain pizza, because Dominos has good deals, you can get a pie with chicken on the side for 15 bucks. The mom and pop pizza spots pies cost more.


I also eat mom and pop pizza but I only get either 2 slices or one regular slice and one square slice. My favorite mom and pop is Joe's Pizza and that Pizza shop on Ave L in Canarsie.


My favorite is a slice with pepperoni and Sausage


Also Dominos is opened on Thanksgiving and Christmas The ONLY fast food spot I'm aware of that's opened on Christmas.


I might be weird for this, but I sometimes order chicken or sausage sub hero sandwiches from mom and pop pizza shops

What kind of sauce do you use?

Make my own sauce using Italian stewed tomatoes Italian seasonings...Creole seasoning l Mrs dash herbs and onions garlic and a pinch of sugar and a splash of Tabasco Sauce and then if I really wanna get nasty...a dash of liquid smoke pecan wood.
