If black people didn't want slavery to end they wouldn't of tried to escape plantations and ran off in the Underground Railroad, they would of just accepted it like you with this white people always wining and refusing to take off the shackles.
Same thing with segregation, our interest in it not ending and our moves is how it ended. If we didn't want segregation to end and didn't try anything we would still be segregated.
