This. This time last year, hell this time last week this time we were trying to figure out what the fukk Hart and Coppy were doing to our team. The Cards acquired Heyward figuring they'd be able to re-sign him.
We essentially traded Heyward for Tyrell Jenkins (Braves top pitching prospect in 2015), Dansby Swanson (2015 #1 overall pick), a good CF Ender Inciarte, and SP Aaron Blair (a guy who could compete for a rotation slot). Cardinals lost that trade and the Braves fleeced the D'Backs twice in one year.
