I would never give up on my people. My ancestors faced far harsher conditions on a daily basis and far greater threats to unity than I ever will and they didn't throw in the towel. How tf would I look like if I did with all the advantages we have today?

I could understand that some would feel this way because the WHOLE WORLD is against us. There's no where we could go where we would feel welcome or doesn't have some prejudice or racism towards us. Wishful thinking is nice , but its not going to change our reality like some new-age, mystic , mumbo-jumbo. We are seriously at the bottom of every metric in literally evry country we inhabit on earth. Think about that. Like not a single nation out of 50 black nations is developed. Like seriously think about it. No amount of positive energy is going to fix that. And we are doing horribly in every single mixed country we've integrated into ranging from the UK to US to Brazil to Canada to France.




Of course, this doesnt mean its a wrap for all black people. Individuals like Obama, johnson, or Kanye can still do well, but as a group our class avg is trash. Compare it to a grade school in a bad neighborhood where most students get Cs, Ds, and Fs. But a handfull of bookworms can still do well in that bad neighborhood getting As. It doesnt matter how well these good students do, becuase they cant meaninfully affect the class average. Black people are this class.

Once upon a time in America pretty much 100% of Black people were poor. Not even "owners" of their own bodies.

I used to say half of Black people were poor during the 90s but I found that it was down to 1/3, actually. No Google, but I think it's down to to like 25% now.

By contrast, about 10% of white people are poor.

As much as we focus on the poor among us, it's trending in the right direction.
