People really saying to blow it all up and that we need nuclear war to fix our problems smh.
The big thing people don't want to hear is this: you got to do the work yourself.
A community can't help you thrive and live your best life because it's got too many other people to help out.
If you want to live to the point where you got no worries in the world, you got grind for yourself before then. Typing and venting on the internet ain't "work" either, anybody can do that. That's easy and the only thing you're doing is trying to avoid doing the work yourself (you're trying to rile up people to do the work for you).
It's bootstraps talk, but honestly, you can't depend on other people to get what you need to do to go to the next level.
Any group of people relying on a community to do the work for them is going to get subpar, non-specific results compared to them putting it on their shoulders and grinding directly towards what they want.
Don't get me wrong, help each other, give back, positively contribute, etc. but at the end of the day a community doesn't function to serve only you. A community for the most part is there to stand tall together and call out discrimination if an entity is standing between you and getting a fair shake. However, stop expecting it to specifically carry you and being mad because it needs to spread over a wide range of situations and help other people out. A lot of people think a community is supposed to cater to them, but it don't work like that.
