The album's promotion was corny as hell. Old CAC barefooted on couch, trying to pass it off as some deep moment in hip hop history. Really it was just a photo op. The CAC had nothing to do with the album's production :beli:

Then CAC Z really started c00ning it up

I don't think he capitalized on the album like should've either. "Holy Grail" would've been a dope video, but the weird pause effects ruined it. "Tom Ford" didn't get a proper video. That "Picasso Baby" video was pointless. "FWitMeUKnowIGotIt" should've been an official single. "BBC" had single potential as well.

I still think some of his most slept on material is on the album. "Jay Z Blue" was a highlight. Same goes for "Heaven". IMO, "Part II" is the only Jay Z/Beyoncé collabo worth repeating aside from "Pray" (which she only had ad-libs on). "Part II" was crazy. "Somewhere In America" and "Oceans" are nice too.

So ghetto, Dope man, Big Pimpin, Come and Get me is all better than anything on MCHG by miles.

This.

Vol.3 had some of Hov's worst songs, but definitely had some dope stuff too.

I still think Kingdom Come was his worst. MCHG was probably his second worst. Both joints came after taking long breaks, with him sounding either rushed or rusty on them. Production was shaky on both of those albums, with half-assed lyrics. When he was dropping back to back albums yearly, he was in a zone that I don't think we'll ever see him in again.

Like someone said, it was the commercials that fukked this shyt up, talking about dualities and shyt, I was excited and expected this to possibly be epic but it was a big let down. If it was a a lowkey mixtape could have just moved on and played a few of the decent songs and wait for the album but as a hyped album that people thought may be momentous it was just a huge let down, some of his worst songs on this.

I agree with people saying it's his worst album.
I even rank it underneath that second album he did with R. Kelly in 2004.
