I think @NYC Rebel's claim is legitimate. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, etc have had walked away from games or press conferences -- and they are not used as examples of what players are not supposed to do. Only Newton is conveniently used. Id on't think the disparity is only down to venue and spectacle. I believe cacs are using Russ as a counterbalance of how they want blacks to act.

It seems that they used the last two losing qbs of the SB because they illustrate the "this is how you act/don't act in defeat" point that they were trying to make perfectly.

Again, If you don't have a problem with how Cam acts then I don't see why you would have a problem with how Russ acts. They're both just trying to get in where they fit in.

You're moving the goal posts. This isn't about the media and their double standards. This thread is about the Yankees trying to teach their players how to deal with the media. Thy used one black qb as an example of how to act and another of how not to act. I agree that the media has double standards and portrays black and white athletes differently but that doesn't apply here. The Yankees want all their players to portray that clean cut always professional image.
