Of course the ATL
I think @NYC Rebel's claim is legitimate. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, etc have had walked away from games or press conferences -- and they are not used as examples of what players are not supposed to do. Only Newton is conveniently used. Id on't think the disparity is only down to venue and spectacle. I believe cacs are using Russ as a counterbalance of how they want blacks to act.

Scam Man has a history of pouting, not answering questions after losses & being a sore loser (which he admitted to). And keep in mind I'm not even just referring to the Super Bowl loss, Scam has been a front runner/sore loser his whole career, it's not a race issue he's ALWAYS acted like this

Spring training involves much more than bullpen sessions, batting practice, and meaningless exhibition games. There's a lot of training that goes on behind the scenes, and not all of it is physical.

Every team conducts some kind of media training in camp because they want their players to know the right way to speak with reporters. They want them to talk to the media but not saying anything controversial, basically. It's easier said than done.

The Yankees, who have to deal with the ruthless New York media, take media training very seriously in spring training. They often bring in guest speakers and show video of what they consider the right and wrong way to act around reporters.

According to ESPN New York's Andrew Marchand, this year the Yankees showed their players video of Cam Newton's and Russell Wilson's recent Super Bowl press conferences.

During the Yankees' media training, the Super Bowl is being used to portray the right and wrong way to act. Part of a video shown to pitchers and catchers compares how Cam Newton handled his Super Bowl loss to the way Russell Wilson dealt with his defeat the previous year.
Following this year's Super Bowl loss, Newton abruptly left his postgame press conferencein the middle of a question. Wilson, meanwhile, answered every question and shouldered the blame for the loss following his team's Super Bowl defeat a year ago.

The Yankees want their players to be more like Wilson -- accountable and available -- and less like Newton, at least when dealing with the media. And hey, I don't blame them. The last thing the Yankees want is some sort of distraction because a player was grumpy with reporters.

1 has a superbowl and the other choked on the big stage even though he was backed by the best team in the NFL..

If you are going to be like Killa Cam then you CANNOT lose...It is all or nothing...If you are goody goody like Russell as long as you don't kill or rape a White Girl, the media will make excuses for you...

Umm both Russ and Cam wife or impregnate groupies(Ashton), industry thots and former strippers. I know it's hard to find a truly wholesome family oriented black male athlete since Rodney Pete (or modern bruhs period) but they could used better a better example. Russ does the same shyt as Cam just sneakier with "less swag."

Yankees need a better PR/Media department. Someone in there is telling them they can essentially do and say whatever they want because they're the Yankees but has neglected to tell them that that kind of negative energy will come back to haunt you whether it's backlash from the fans or an overall hostile environment that free agents will not want to to fukk with.

Cam and Russ are essentially the same person, one just dabs less
