Solid as expected. Is dude not messing with those other YBN dudes though? I noticed none of them are featured.

My theory is the YBN shyt was orchestrated by the industry so he can have some buzz. He doesn’t even fit in with the other 2 musically. Like my guy in Killa Season said they pick nikkas for this shyt.

Family Matters was good.

The jawn with Anderson Paak was nice.

He reminds me of J Cole.

He can rap but not my cup of tea.

Cordae tries his best to tow the line between appealing to the older and younger crowds. It's kinda funny to see because you know the skill is there, he just doesn't know what to do with it yet. He should def stay away from hooks.
His little singing shyt is trash too.

Damn. Why isn’t this stickied? He a young breh and this may not be the classics we’re use to but ain’t this the rap y’all wanted?

Solid product.
As others mentioned he has the telltale signs of having the machine behind him but he delivering so it’s not much of a concern.

I was trying to figure his sound out. Album in terms of rhymes and aesthetic reminded me of Coloring Book and Born Sinner at many points with other influences from some contemporaries that are just commonplace now.

I dug it.
Good brother that deserved a look. Interested in how he grows from here and how Implements his own ideas sonically. Start of something good. Might stick with a few of these songs. :ehh:
