Yea there is a number of singers/artists who sound much different on records than they do when they talk.

So Ye's trying to preserve his beautiful singing voice just like Michael Jackson, that's why he's talking in a high voice?

Kanye doesn't wanna risk not being able to make another autotune classic I guess :lolbron:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven

start at 1:50. how come Ye dont talk like this anymore? :ohhh:

he clearly answered this... when you get around white people, who he feels are a different class, he switches it up and gives them the "white voice"

i'll give you an example... you answer the phone for one of your boys and have a convo about the club last night.. is that the same lingo and PITCH you'd use to answer the phone at work and talk to the CEO?? nah you'd lighten it up. well most people do.. just listen to how they sound on their voicemail vs. how they sound when they talking to you on the block. it's called a professional voice

why kanye feels the need to do this at this point in his career.... that he never answered... but apparently he's doing it now
