that's because bbc isn't made to the same standard/quality as it once was...they use different manufacturers now. im pretty its run by rocnation or rocawear now, something like that im not 100%

This. It used to be hard to get BBC shyt before they had a website because there was literally one store in NY that had them. Then the site came out and stuff would sell out within days. Then, Nigo sold BAPE (for cheap, arguably at a loss) and BBC had to move on as well, so they linked up with the same licensing company that produces Rocawear, hence the reason why JayZ promotes BBC now and even had a whole damn song dedicated to it on MCHG.

Naturally, the licensing company takes liberties with the quality of materials they use, and in exchange, it gets into more stores, like Dr Jays, Karmaloop, etc. Now, the people, would couldn't really afford BBC can get access to it even tho the prices are still kinda high. But those new customers never knew of the higher quality the brand out out back when the shyt was super exclusive so it doesn't matter to them
