The Temptations > whoever you even think
All dope groups but none of them can match the 4 tops in a greatest hits battle . Temptations maybe but anyone else nopeI fukk with the Four Tops heavy but they’re not seeing The Temptations.
IMO the closest groups seeing them pound-for-pound are The Dells, The Dramatics, and The Ojays.
The classic 5 + Dennis Edwards was a great era, Ali-Ollie Woodson had a decent run in the mid 80's (treat her like a lady, lady soul), the 1998 Phoenix Rising album was good, everything else after 1975 was pretty average. I think the Ojays might be the best R&B vocal group of the 1970's.The Temptations > whoever you even think
I can see why you think the Ojay's would be ..but the Tops? Temptations (David Ruffins) had the greatest heartbreak song: "I wish it would rain".
