Why are dudes complaining about not being able to offball defense?
If nobody does it then it balances out
Nothing wrong with using an offball guy to get over a screen or whatever but why do dudes need to roam with a center all game while CPU defends for them

Thats what im saying theres a difference between that and playing offball D. Off ball is using a nikka like Lebron to spam steals or just controlling your center all game

How am i suppose to take advantage of having a great off ball defenders on my team if i can't use him? In real life nikkas make their bread off this shyt. Ibaka, Dwight, Anthony Davis,KG to name a few.Whether its using off ball or playing zone... It makes no sense. if i roam w/ the center you are supposed to make me pay for it with ball movement..not outlawing off ball d all together. If i use zones the you move the rock at the top of the key and shoot 3's. You guys are handicapping this shyt for for guard play. It doesn't need to be balanced out..that was the whole point of the draft..to pick and create the type of team/style you want to run. I have one of the best penetrators(pause) in the league w/ Derrick Rose but its not realistic for me to put him in Iso and just try to get past one defender all day. That person should be allowed to slide to use his PF or C to prevent the penetration..or play zone. @Jaye is good regardless and i was getting the hang of the on ball d after a while but still it aint realstic enough.
I was using 2k but then i switched to belbuba..which helped alot.

If you roaming with a center to stop a drive to the paint thats all good in my book otherwise you gonna get roasted.
On the flip side if somebody is dribbling trying to get something going and instead of guarding the ball handler, your waiting behind him as your center thats off ball D.
Anticipating and trying to make a good defensive play isnt what we are trying to take away here.
IDK mayby im just a rookie on these sticks but if dude throws and iso the first thing i would do is switch to to my center...if not then you center will be all the way at the 3 point line. This is a game you wont stay in front an elite guard IDC how good you think your on ball d is.

Oh for sure if you know hes a second from blowing by dude, your switching over to get the stop, the foul or to make it a difficult stop

Playing zone all game is lazy as hell and half the time in a zone dudes just sneak and anticipate passes for steals.
If we sitting here calling bullshyt on up n unders, euro steps, full court lobs , etc...gotta call bullshyt on off ball d and zone all game.
Yall dont got the computer controlling on offense right? So why should defense be any different?
