the game been missing that west coast gangsta shyt imo.Game been out but he worked with producers from everywhere so his music didnt always have that true west coast sound. I still dont see how schoolboy q can sell so much more than yg.

I can see why.......Schoolboy Q is apart of a movement (involving Kendrick who released arguably the best rap album in years) and has a better presence as a rapper at this point. Q is carrying Kendrick's momentum. YG is kinda just there.

man the concept of the album is dope but YG can't carry such an album at this time...I'll give him credit for effort and actually making some bangers (Bicken Back Bein Bool) but I cant sit down and listen to this album all the way thru again

This is true. Always felt like Westcoast words with production from other regions. Even Dre's beats at the time were not a 'true westcoast' sound really.

SchoolBoy Q is on a better team with a big following, especially out here. YG not as much. There is also a difference between how Interscope/TDE pushed the project and how Def Jam/CTE did. The weird thing is YG has sold 3x as many singles as Q has. He sold a lot more albums but YG sold more songs.
