He will do 200k or more total which is $2 million in revenue. Add another million from the singles that is $3 million revenue.

Label probably spent $500k absolute tops on this album.

Labels aren't stupid, they see all rappers excluding 10 or so sell under 250k. They aren't investing a million in an album.

A decent profit will be made off this.

Oh and album is straight fire

:dahell: You getting these numbers from. Unless you're established or have a special type of deal, Artist only get $2 per album sold bruh, not the full $10. They only get 10 cents per iTunes single as well. Plus :mjlol: At dude selling 200k, ain't no way that will happen. He will make most of his money doing shows. Them album sales don't mean much unless you start going Gold and Platinum on a consistent basis. YG definitely ain't going Gold.

I wasn't saying he will make the full 10...I'm saying albums sell for ten bucks. If album and singles generate $3 million and expenses were only half a million that's $2.5 million for the label and him to split. Even if he gets 20% of that that's still $400k plus then tour money. Plus the label making 2 mill means he'll get another album.

And dude is doing 65k first week, usually first week is roughly 1/3 of total sales

I don't know if it's Def Jam or Jeezy, but YG ain't out there like that aside from the typical radio show circuit. the average fan wouldn't be able to recognize YG if he had a shirt on that said "bytch, I'm YG" YG's a casualty of hip-hop not having the same outlets to put your shyt out and make yourself a known commodity as it used to have.

album is :trash:

left right wuz :trash:

who do u luv wuz :trash:

YG is :trash: his beats carry him (DJ Mustard)

Mustard needs to move on to a new artist, he had better success with Tyga (Rack City)

but Tyga is :trash: also

YG's previous mixtapes were better then this garbage ass album, he need to stick to club music, he can't make concept songs becuz he simply duzn't have tha lyricism to carry them....
only dapped this bc of the bolded. :what: at WDYL being trash. That shyt was a instant banger

Early numbers are usually off about 10-15K but I'm kinda shocked he didn't do in the 75-90K range just off the West alone.

Shouldn't have let 'My N*gga' go so soon and both of his singles out now are luke warm.
my nikka wasnt even projected to get as big as it did. Personally first time i heard i gave it the :manny: and didn't listen again. The chorus is really the only good part of that song. That song becoming a hit was all bc of vine, vine is a huge advertising tool and people are figuring it out.
