It don't take a brain surgeon to figure this shyt out. Lol at nikkas thinking we sat down at some round-table in the mid 80s and decided to drop the er for an a.

The pronunciation is AAVE. It's the same word we just applied a different meaning after the fact.

That's one of the reasons this ADOS shyt is so important. It's not all about reparations and pointing at other black folks saying y'all ain't us. nikkas need to learn who they are and why they do the things they do.

I respect your POV but how can you be against the n word but be real quick to call another black man a c00n?
Yes. Had to check myself on this as well
nikka, c00n , sambo etc

all those are white terms

riddle me this, whats the differences between the
-ga and -er

when said with a heavy southern drawl?

I don't know a single black person that refers to other black people as ******s. :francis:
Nobody do that shyt where I'm from. I'll say nikka all day long and don't give a fukk what someone think but you don't use that ER unless you trying to get paws.

My lil brother specifically had to leave vincennes university in indiana cause one of them white boys tried to use that shyt on him and he fukked him up.

We don't play that shyt

as i got older i stopped using even nikka in real life, i think i only use that here really.
fr, i use it. But slowly sparingly to the point where I will prefer not using it at all

one of my younger cousins uses it to much for my liking, and when im around him he kills it for me. Where I end up not using it for almost a day or two:pachaha:

Different groups have used/altered/reclaimed ethnic slurs and stereotypes used against them for decades. They've also drawn a line between who can and can't say what. It's all about context.

Jews will make in-jokes about them being cheap and to hide your shekels, Mexican teens will call each other beaners, Persians/Iranians will talk their shyt about how their women are all hairy af while the men are balding; Germans/Nords make fun of how brawny and burly some of their women are, and the Irish will openly make jokes about them all being drunks, etc. All this shyt falls under the umbrella of "it's okay when WE do it but not you" which is not and has never been a difficult concept for me to understand.

There's a clear difference between "nikka" and "******" and you have to be playing dumb not to get that. And if the sum total of your "confusion" is b..b..but it SOUNDS so much like that other word! I think it's time to reevaluate your comprehension skills.

Wow what a terrible argument, you're comparing stereotypes to historical racial slurs.

People use the word nikka so much that it devalues ******. And the word's root is far off from each other. Black people really just need to stop using the word period.

We have probably been calling each other that for hundreds of years

Likely began soon after slavery began in the New World

I'll bite :manny:

Saying "a" devalues the racism attached to the "er".

Case in point, isn't there a thread where latinos are given a pass to say "a", but I bet if it's "er" it would be a sung a different tune

Either one I personally don't use IRL at all.

Just my opinion though

what are you even talking about it

so you discount the gangster rap of the 90's and go straight to odd future

:dahell:
Sir, are u aware that we are referring to Black artists using the HARD '-ER' ending and not the SOFT '-A' at the end of nigg-? :dahell:
I cannot think of ANY examples of 90's gangster rappers using the "HARD -ER" ending. :camby:
