yall crazy. Sushi is legit. I had this roll called a Strawberry roll as my first sushi, and the flavors were unbelievable. Its really a matter of finding what you like, and make sure you get it at a good place, not the grocery store. When its fresh and made with good ingredients, its some of the best food on earth. Especially with Mahi or Ahi. Some of the sauces they come up with It always surprises me when I see that someone doesn't like it. The flavors of basic sushi are universal.

I don't fukk with sashimi...straight up raw fish and rice.

I will eat baked rolls, deep fried, tempura, etc...like baked baby lobster rolls
the amount of sushi restaurants in LA is unreal...especially in the valley. but in japan...sushi ain't even that popular.

I wish yakitori and shabu was more popular...they're worth getting excited about.

I gotta agree with T/S, I never got the appeal of sushi. COOKED fish is just ok, you're telling me that raw fish should cost premium prices?

It's an acquired taste. The main reason I started eating it was because chicks I was trying to smash always wanted to eat it, so I learned to like it.

There's a lot of it I can't fukk with, but some of it is really dope. You just gotta know what to get. If you're early in the game, and you order the wrong thing, it can fukk you up and turn you off from sushi forever.

The first time I really had it I was trying to impress this girl and she was a sushi master, so I ordered some straight up raw eel and octopus. We had both just got done working out together too. After a few pieces I had to go to the bathroom and I puked my guts out.

I stay away from the super raw shyt. If you go again, just ask them to give you some American sushi. fukk it man, get some of those Tempura deep fried rolls with like salmon and spicy mayo or something. That shyt is money, and a good way to get into it.
